Dr. Christine Oliver

Dr. Oliver received her M.D. degree at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, NC. She completed a residency in internal medicine/social medicine in New York City and practiced primary care before completing a second residency in occupational medicine at the Harvard School of Public Health in Boston. Dr. Oliver retired from her positions as Associate Physician in the Department of Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School in 2017, when she relocated to Toronto.

Dr. Oliver is an Adjunct Professor at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto, in the Division of Occupational and Environmental Health. Board certified in preventive (occupational) medicine and internal medicine, she has cared for patients, done research, and taught in the area of occupational and environmental illness and disease, including the area of multiple chemical sensitivities. Dr. Oliver worked closely with the Massachusetts Association for the Chemically Injured (MACI); she is a member of the Board of Directors of the Chemical Sensitivity Foundation in the U.S. She had the honor of serving on the Ontario Task Force on Environmental Health. She is a medical consultant to Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers (OHCOW).
